West Ham will be aiming to win back to back Premier League matches for the first time in nearly two years when they travel to the Kirklees Stadium this weekend to take on David Wagner’s Huddersfield. Several stats are on the side of the visitors- the Terriers have never won in the Premier League under the referee for this game, Chris Kavanagh and they have a poor league record in November.
On paper, this looks like an easy win for the Hammers. Town hadn’t even scored at home until Fosu Mensah’s own goal on Monday night broke that long drought- the victory over Fulham was also their first league win of the season.
