Chicharito confirmed! West Ham complete Javier Hernandez signing

West Ham have officially confirmed the signing of striker Javier Hernandez from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen. The Mexican international, top scorer at the Bay Arena for the last two seasons, has put pen to paper a three year contract at the London Stadium, with the Hammers paying the Werkself £16m for his services.

The signing of Hernandez is the latest in the list of high profile signings to be made by the Hammers this summer, with Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart and Marko Arnautovic the other big name arrivals at the London Stadium.

Interestingly enough, West Ham’s first game of the season is against Hernandez’s old club Manchester United [Read more…]

Hammers complete Arnautovic signing

West Ham have officially completed the signing of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City, with the Austrian international becoming the Irons’ record signing as Slaven Bilic seeks to bolster his side ahead of the new Premier League season.

The 28 year old has moved for a fee of £20m, with a further £5m potentially payable in addons to the Potters, taking the total value of the deal to £25m.

Stoke signed Arnautovic four years ago from Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen for just £2.3m.

Randolph opts for Boro switch

Following the arrival of Joe Hart on loan from Man City, Darren Randolph has opted to further his career in the Championship after agreeing an £5m switch to Middlesbrough.

Randolph competed with Adrian for a position under the sticks at the London Stadium and while he had his good moments, he didn’t exactly inspire confidence among Hammers fans.

A key reason for Randolph’s departure was the 2018 World Cup, with the 30 year old keen for regular football in order to stay as Ireland’s No.1 ahead of Keiren Westwood. [Read more…]

West Ham sign Joe Hart on loan

West Ham have completed the signing of Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City. The England stopper spent last season in the Italian top flight with Torino and will spend the whole of 2017/18 at the London Stadium.

Hart, who is on a £4.5m contract with City, will get paid £2.5m by West Ham (allowing the club to operate within their wage structure), but the Hammers will also pay £2m as loan fee to City, who will in turn bear the remaining part of the 30 year old’s wages. [Read more…]

George Dobson Sparta Rotterdam- WHUFC youngster moves to Eredivisie
