After a dire performance at home against Brighton, West Ham will be hoping to bounce back when they make the short trip to Wembley to take on in-form Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
The Hammers were abject against the Seagulls despite playing at home with potentially their strongest XI against a promoted team that had not won away on the road this season. The result lead to more calls among supporters and pundits alike for Slaven Bilic’s head but the Croatian gaffer has apparently been given this midweek clash against Spurs and the weekend league one against Crystal Palace to turn things around.
