West Ham agrees on price for Andy Carroll

Great news for Hammers fans everywhere is that big Geordie Andy Carroll is part of West Ham United setup after the Irons agreed a £16million fee with Liverpool to sign the striker.

The Hammers hope that the promise of regular first team football would persuade Carroll to join the Londoners on a permanent deal especially as the World Cup in Brazil is just around the corner, so to speak. [Read more…]

West Ham secure Reid on new contract

West Ham have secured the services of central defender Winston Reid until 2015 after the New Zealander signed a new 2-year deal.

This is fantastic news for West Ham as Reid, along with James ‘Ginge’ Collins, has been outstanding in the heart of the West Ham defence this season and Reid will have to be in with a strong shout for West Ham’s Player of The Year Award. [Read more…]
