West Ham boss Sam Allardyce seems to have parked the idea of bringing Liverpool’s Stuart Downing or Baggies Graham Dorrans to the Boleyn Ground but is still hoping to sign Columbian hit man Duvan Zapata.
There are apparently issues with the Columbian’s work permit and that is what is holding up the process. Duvan Zapata is currently playing for Argentine club Estudiantes. [Read more…]
As reported yesterday, Sam Allardyce is looking to tune up the midfield ahead of the coming season and was apparently interested in Serbian Zdravko Kuzmanovic who plays for Inter Milan.

West Ham United have moved a step closer to signing Colombian strike star Duvan Zapata from Argentinian side Estudiantes.
The Hammer’s were reported to have had a bid accepted in the region of £8 million at the weekend and it now seems the move has taken a positive turn with with club having applied for a work permit for the player. [Read more…]
West Ham United stepped up their pre-season training this week and followed up their win over Cork in Ireland with a 3-0 victory at Boreham Wood.
Lots of transfer speculation again this week with the club being linked with a number of forwards as well as a few midfielder players, which is interesting as West Ham Manager Sam Allardyce has said the club are only looking for one more quality player, so is it a striker or midfielder?
