West Ham have waved goodbye to the prospect of bringing Stuart Downing to the Boleyn Ground. Even Sam Allardyce said that he probably couldn’t afford the Liverpool winger anyway. Apparently Downing is happy to stay at Anfield and fight for a spot in the first eleven next season. [Read more…]
