West Ham interested in £3m Graham Dorrans?

As reported yesterday, Sam Allardyce is looking to tune up the midfield ahead of the coming season and was apparently interested in Serbian Zdravko Kuzmanovic who plays for Inter Milan.

Sam is also reportedly ready to table a bid for WBA midfielder Graham Dorrans in a £3m move.

However, the 26 year old Scottish international has fallen out of favour with West Bromich Albion manager Steve Clarke and has struggled to hold down a first team place. The midfielder made just 20 Premier League appearances last season for the Baggies.

Thrifty Allardyce though, wants to sign the midfielder for a bargain price says UK newspaper The Sun.

Graham Dorrans is apparently free to talk and that’s caught the interest of both Norwich and Cardiff City, who are both monitoring the players movements.

If a fair offer arrives on the Hawthorns’ doorstep, Sam Allardyce will surely have some sort of battle on his hands with the above interested clubs if he wants to bring Dorrans down south to the Boleyn Ground.

Dorrans arrived at West Bromich Albion from Scottish outfit Livingstone for £100,000 in 2008. He has made over 150 appearances for the club, too.

Graham Dorrans is an attacking midfielder and the Hammers could do with someone like him in the middle. He would fit in with Allardyce’s plans perfectly to spruce up the midfield.

About Stevo

Stevo can remember going to games with his Dad and seeing the likes of Clyde Best of all people. He also has a few mates who have “done” complete seasons too – and that was when the Irons were in division one. That’s every home and away game – unbelievable! Stevo plans to do this himself next season!

Not getting into a argument with you Scotty, but you and a sheep would have a lot in common

  2. Stevie Mac you your whole comment is utterly pointless and makes no sense

  3. Bags of Fun says

Er…..he made 20 appearances for a superior WBA outfit last year. That’s almost half the games, including starting the last 10 or so…

    Interesting
I took it West Ham where looking to go forward where going 1 step forward and 2 steps back
If Graham cant hold his place with West Brom how is he going to hold a place with West Ham
And if this is true it defeats the purpose of buying Andy
