West Ham claimed their first away win of the 2017/18 Premier League season as their revival under David Moyes continued following a fine 3-0 away win at the Bet365 Stadium against Stoke City.
Mark Hughes had never lost to West Ham in his managerial career at Stoke (W3, D5 prior to this outing), but a penalty from Mark Noble in his 300th Premier League game for West Ham, and late goals from former Stoke player Marko Arnautovic and substitute Diafra Sakho saw the visitors climb out of the drop zone.
With Crystal Palace winning away at Leicester in the early kick off, Stoke and West Ham were 16th and 19th respectively in the league table going into this clash, which was delayed by an hour owing to power failure at the Bet365 Stadium [Read more…]
