Downing strikes back at Roger’s comments

Stewart Downing, the Hammers’ new signing, has hit back at his former Liverpool boss by stating that his move down south to the Boleyn Ground was not motivated by cash.
Downing’s ex manager Brendan Rogers, had stated that the England international wasn’t originally intended to be sold but was ‘offered a really good deal at West Ham United’. [Read more…]

Ricardo Vaz Te was a player who could do no wrong at West Ham, he had the opportunity to earn ‘Legendary’ cult status after scoring the winning goal in the Play-Off Final against Blackpool.
When Vaz Te was signed from Barnsley for half a million , nobody could have predicted the impact he would go on to make; he went on to score 12 goals for West Ham from January up until the end of the season, 24 goals in total that season. [Read more…]

As a La Liga watcher, I have kept a close eye on one of my favourite players only to see him travel up the road and sign for the White Hart Lane guys.

Downing Officially Signs For West Ham

Stewart Downing has officially signed for West Ham United on a four-year-contract for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be in the region of £6 Million.
