Pictures- Gorgeous West Ham Home Kit 2015-16 revealed by Umbro- a tribute to the Boleyn Ground

Our new strip for the 2015/2016 Premier League season has been revealed today, and Umbro have come up with a cracker for our last season at the Boleyn ahead of the big move to the Olympic Stadium. It’s also our first Umbro made uniform since 2010- we inked a five season deal with them to replace Adidas beginning the 15/16 season.

Given the teaser promos ahead of the big reveal dubbing it as the “Boleyn Ground” kit, it was obvious that Umbro would come up with a retro one, and we expected them to give us a good one. [Read more…]

Hammers’ 2015/16 fixture list released- opener is at Arsenal away

West Ham’s fixtures for the new Premier League season have been released, and it’s a mixed draw, we have to say.

We can’t publish the whole list of fixtures here owing to factors beyond our control, (click to see them at the BBC), but here is a short synopsis.

First game is away at Arsenal, final day of the season away at Stoke.

Slaven Bilic named as new West Ham boss

After having the names of Unai Emery, Ronald Koeman, Marcelo Bielsa and even the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti thrown around, West Ham have appointed their new manager, and it’s an appointment the fans will welcome- ex player Slaven Bilic.

West Ham’s Diego Poyet at U20 FIFA World Cup for Uruguay

West Ham have only one player at the ongoing U20 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand- Diego Poyet, son of the legendary Gustavo.

Young Diego has been a substitute in both of Uruguay’s games so far. He replaced Jaime Baez in the 71st minute against Serbia (Uruguay won 1-0) and made another twenty minute appearance off the bench against Mexico (replacing Kevin Mendez, Uruguay lost 2-1) [Read more…]
