Slaven Bilic named as new West Ham boss

After having the names of Unai Emery, Ronald Koeman, Marcelo Bielsa and even the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti thrown around, West Ham have appointed their new manager, and it’s an appointment the fans will welcome- ex player Slaven Bilic.

What is the length of Slaven Bilic’s managerial contract at West Ham?

Bilic has signed a three year contract, beginning the 2015/16, to last till 2018

The Croatian was always touted as the “best realistic” chance for being the new manager. He’s shown enough managerial pedigree in his stints, and retains a great level of passion for West Ham following his time in London as a player. In short, this is something the management seem to have got right!

At Croatia and Besiktas, Bilic played a fairly good brand of attacking football, and it’s certainly something the fans will be eager to see replicated here.

Some fairly decent comments from Besiktas fans at Reddit regarding Slaven’s appointment- see them here
