West Ham’s fixtures for the new Premier League season have been released, and it’s a mixed draw, we have to say.
We can’t publish the whole list of fixtures here owing to factors beyond our control, (click to see them at the BBC), but here is a short synopsis.
First game is away at Arsenal, final day of the season away at Stoke.
Bit disappointing that we don’t have a home game on the final day of the season, would be a classic occasion given that it would also be the last game at the Boleyn
Instead, Boleyn’s last Premier League game will be against Swansea on May 7, 2015. Would it have been better if it was against one of the London clubs? Absolutely, but there’s not much we can do about it.
We’re away on Boxing Day at Villa, followed by home games against Stoke and Liverpool- that’s a pretty reasonable festival period fixture list.
A look through the fixtures indicates that we don’t seem to have consecutive fixtures against the top 4, unlike last season, which is good.
