Slaven Bilic post-match interview after Arsenal- Team lacks intensity even in training

Has Slaven lost the dressing room? Is he not pushing the players hard enough? Or are the players no longer willing to work hard for him?

Judging by his post-match interview after the 5-1 loss to Arsenal, it looks like the latter, with the Croat bemoaning the “lack of intensity” even in training.

Slav looks like a man who knows the axe is coming. Bit sad to watch this interview, but it’s an illuminating one all the same. Mirrors the comments Enner Valencia made after joining Everton, saying that West Ham didn’t train as hard as the Toffees.

Diafra Sakho injury report- Striker out for 6 weeks after Man Utd injury

West Ham’s strikers don’t seem to having the best of seasons, with Diafra Sakho the latest addition to the treatment room. The Senegalese forward, who became the first “proper” Hammers striker to score in the league in 16/17 with his goal against Manchester United over the weekend, has now been ruled out for six weeks due to a thigh injury.

Man Utd v West Ham Part II- EFL Cup QF

West Ham’s second game against Manchester United in the space of four days sees Slaven Bilic’s side again travel to Old Trafford to take on the Red Devils in a League Cup quarterfinal on Wednesday evening.

The Hammers drew 1-1 with Man Utd on Saturday- the first time since 1980 that the Red Devils have drawn four straight games at home.

Rovers terminate Samuelsen loan deal

Martin Samuelsen has returned to West Ham after Blackburn Rovers terminated his loan spell. The Norway international moved to Ewood Park on a season long loan in August but has made only four appearances so far for the troubled Championship outfit.
