Alou Diarra has gone on the offensive today and unleashed a scathing attack on Sam Allardyce and the agents who lied to get him to West Ham United.
Diarra, 31, who is a French international, only moved to West Ham in the summer and has only been seen in the Premier League twice since his arrival and is demanding he be allowed to leave the club in this transfer window. [Read more…]
Sam Allardyce has been charged with misconduct by the FA on Friday after criticising referee Phil Dowd after West Ham’s defeat by Manchester United in their FA Cup clash.
A Wayne Rooney goal early on in the clash at the Theatre of Dreams put paid to the third round replay of their FA Cup game. Rooney also blasted over the crossbar from the penalty spot after a Jordan Spence handball in the penalty area.
West Ham United have pulled out the stops and made an improved offer in a bid to land Blackburn Rovers defender Martin Olsson. The Hammers are now offering £3.5million for the youngster.
It is understood that the Sweden international wants to leave Rovers and the initial bid of around £2.5m was rejected.Blackburn Rovers are reluctant to sell the 24 year-old Swede for anything less than £4million. [Read more…]
New Zealander Winston Reid has been handed the captain’s armband for West Ham’s FA Cup third round replay against Manchester United at Old Trafford tonight at the theatre of dreams.
This great news comes after The 24 year old’ defender penned a two-year extension with the East London club after he had attracted interest from a number of other Premier League clubs including Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail reported that West Ham United planned further negotiations with Winston Reid in the summer, with an eye on keeping him at the Boleyn Ground until at least 2018. [Read more…]
