West Ham iron out Cardiff 2-0

West Ham United spoiled Cardiff City’s first game in the Premier League running out comfortable 2-0 winners at Upton Park.

Cardiff, who were last seasons runaway winners in the Championship, found it difficult to get an early foothold in the game and found themselves under pressure straight away.

Downing strikes back at Roger’s comments

Stewart Downing, the Hammers’ new signing, has hit back at his former Liverpool boss by stating that his move down south to the Boleyn Ground was not motivated by cash.
