Thoughts, Observations and Highlights- Spurs vs West Ham 4-1

This was one bad result that we’ll like to forget. Tough writing about such a fixture, but it needs to be done, so here we go.

While Spurs were favourites going into the match, it wasn’t expected to be a cakewalk for them. We were unbeaten in our last three trips to the Lane, while they had only beaten us once in our last five clashes.

Enner Strength knocks Mexico out- West Ham’s Valencia stars in Ecuadorean win at Copa America

Mexico became the first team to be knocked out of Copa America 2015 as they lost 2-0 to an Ecuadorean side which had West Ham’s Enner Valencia in their starting lineup. Valencia had a hand in the first goal scored by Miller Bolanos. His 26th minute shot was blocked and fell to Bolanos, who scored from close range.

Emelec striker Bolanos returned the favour twelve minutes after the interval, setting up Valencia for a decisive blow to Mexico’s hopes. The goal was Valencia’s second of the tournament, with the forward having also got on the scoresheet in the previous game against Bolivia. Sakho vows to put more goals away next season

Hammers striker Diafra Sakho has vowed to put more balls into the back of the net next season. West Ham started off really well this season and one of my highlights was Sakho along with Valencia. It looks like Sam Allardyce does not have time on his side after being beaten by Leicester at the weekend after what looked like a certain point for the Hammers.
