A game between two teams in the bottom four- a fixture between a caretaker Everton manager (David Unsworth) and a former Everton manager (David Moyes) with the future Everton manager (Sam Allardyce, also previously a West Ham manager!) sitting in the stands.
Unfortunately for David Moyes, his troubles continue, with Everton handing his side a 4-0 thrashing at Goodison Park. Going into this game, the Toffees were the ones with the worst defensive record in the Premier League- at the end of the 90, that baton had been passed to West Ham, with Wayne Rooney scoring his first hat trick in EFC colours.
The game also ensured Moyes’ poor record against Everton after leaving Goodison Park continued- he now has gone five games without a win, and more shockingly, his teams have not managed to score a SINGLE goal against the Toffees [Read more…]
