Diafra Sakho | Crystal Palace in talks to sign West Ham striker

Crystal Palace are in talks with West Ham over a move for unsettled striker Diafra Sakho. The Senegalese international has made no secret of the fact that he wants out of the London Stadium and Palace, who are one spot above West Ham in the league standings, have expressed interest in bringing him to Selhurst Park.

Palace already have Mamadou Sakho and Bakary Sako in their ranks, so signing Diafra will make it a third Sakho at Selhurst Park!

Striker is a position where West Ham are pretty well stacked, with Andy Carroll, Javier Hernandez, Michail Antonio, Andre Ayew and even Marko Arnautovic capable of playing there.

Palace are however not the only club interested in Sakho- there’s also been talk of Big Sam keeping an eye on him, and Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon mulling over a loan bid for the Senegalese international, with a view to making the switch permanent in the summer.

If Sakho’s sale helps in bringing Dendoncker to West Ham, we reckon it’s a transfer most fans will not be averse to.

A potential stumbling block could however be the transfer fee, with the Hammers reportedly asking for something in the range of £15m for the striker.
