Aston Villa 2 – 1 West Ham

West Ham United failed to disappoint by continuing their awful away record in The Premiership by going down 2-1 to relegation strugglers Aston Villa.

Villa have now climbed out of the bottom three and are now just six points behind West Ham in the league table, which shows you how close West Ham are to being sucked into a relegation scrap.

The game was extremely poor from both sides with Villa relying on two set plays for their goals and West Ham requiring the help of a Villa player to score an own goal to get on the score sheet. [Read more…]
