West Ham United have moved a step closer to signing Colombian strike star Duvan Zapata from Argentinian side Estudiantes.
The Hammer’s were reported to have had a bid accepted in the region of £8 million at the weekend and it now seems the move has taken a positive turn with with club having applied for a work permit for the player. [Read more…]
West Ham United stepped up their pre-season training this week and followed up their win over Cork in Ireland with a 3-0 victory at Boreham Wood.

West Ham United fans received a timely boost with news that the clubs record signing Andy Carroll should be fit for the start of the season.
Carroll, 24, was signed from Liverpool for £15 million but has been struggling with a heel injury he picked up in the last game of season, with no prognosis of when he would be strutting his stuff for West Ham. [Read more…]

Following on from my Friday Transfer Update there has been a lot of noise coming out regarding West Ham United and possible transfers in and out at the club, but very little in the way of end product.
We was linked with Colombian striker Duvan Zapata at the weekend when The Mirror reported that we had already had a fee accepted for the striker for around £6.7 million, however it appears to have gone very quite on that front. [Read more…]
