Umbro & West Ham unveil 2018-19 season shirts

West Ham have become the second Umbro outfitted Premier League club to reveal their new shirts for the 18/19 season. Everton were the first to do so last month and the Hammers have followed suit now, shortly after announcing Manuel Pellegrini as their new boss. While the Toffees only chose to unveil their new home kit, West Ham have gone one step ahead and revealed both home and away kits for the new season.

While there’s been some mixed feedback from fans regarding the lack of blue on the sleeves, we think the home one is a pretty good effort from Umbro! The away though feels like a bit of a let down. Were yellow socks the best idea? Should it have been “dark teal” all through?

All this and all would be forgotten if we get back to the top ten under Manuel. COYI!

While he did establish himself as a regular towards the end of the Moyes era (perhaps owing to Reid being perennially injured!), looks like young Declan Rice has a huge role to play at the London Stadium. The versatile Irish international features prominently in the new kit launch.
