West Ham secured three crucial points against Huddersfield away on Saturday to continue their resurgence under David Moyes. Not surprisingly much of the praise was reserved for the attacking duo of Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic, who scored three of the Hammers’ four goals between them.
Austrian forward Arnautovic even bagged the first 10/10 rating by a West Ham player this season from Football.London. Sky, it appears, opted for an easier rating policy- they gave all the outfield players bar Lanzini and Arnautovic a 7, and gave the Argentine an 8 and the Austrian a 9. In all three media ratings, Lanzini finished just a point below Arnautovic.
Also coming in for praise were veteran midfielder Mark Noble and defender Angelo Ogbonna.
The 4-1 win saw the Hammers do the double over the newly promoted Terriers, having beaten them in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium earlier this season.
