Ivan Ramis Linked To West Ham

Ramis reveals a ‘new and very interesting offer’.

Earlier this week Ivan Ramis the Spanish defender appeared to be on his way to Wigan when they increased their bid to around €4.5million for the Mallorca man.

However, it now appears someone else has come in and topped their offer for the 27-year-old Ramis, with that club rumoured to be West Ham.

Speaking with The Daily Mirror he said:

“I have played my last match for Mallorca because there is a new and very interesting offer for me.

“Wigan is not the best proposition for me.”

Ramis has been linked with a move to a whole host of Premier League and SPL clubs, but The Hammers could now be his destination.

Since this article was published a bid has been accepted, read more HERE.

He’s not a bad defender, coming from Mallorca. he’s 27 so there’s a few good years in him yet and he’s a nice tall lad, about 6 foot 2. Best though is the price of him-he’s a steal in my book.

I think your right Dave, when you see the prices that are banding around at the moment less than £5 Mill for an established defender who is only 27 is a bargain!

Does anyone know anything else about this guy? I don’t follow Spanish football but quite a few teams have been after him so maybe he could be a good signing? COYI
