Yesterday it was announced that ex West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand was released from Championship side QPR. Graduating the famous West Ham youth academy, Anton looked set to follow his brother Rio as a future England international.

Anton left West Ham back in 2008 to join Sunderland in a move that I personally found very disappointing, although at the time we were in financial turmoil so it couldn’t be avoided. [Read more…]
