Newcastle happy with just a point at West Ham

I suppose it wasn’t such a bad result for the Hammers but earning just a point for Newcastle was a nightmare for Pardew.

Hammers went down fighting to Man City

The Hammers went down fighting at the weekend as Iron Bobby has already said in his match report. I suppose Roberto Mancini had told his players to go out fighting now that the league title has exchanged hands and belongs with the Red Devils.

I had to chuckle when Mancini said the other week that his team had played better than Ferguson’s – who’s he kidding? He’s 14 points adrift of the leaders! He’s built a team like Chelsea did with an open cheque book and mega wage deals – they should be a good team, but not just yet. [Read more…]

West Ham United beat Wigan 2-0 this weekend to almost guarantee Premier League football at The Boleyn Ground next year and move into 10th place in the table.

West Ham Robbed of A Famous Victory

West Ham United drew 2-2 with the mighty Manchester United in the Premier League last night but were robbed of a famous victory due to the inadequacy of a linesman.

The Hammers’ were up for this game from the first whistle as the game started at a blistering pace, with in form striker Andy Carroll going close after just five minutes when his shot from outside the box whistled past the post of United keeper David De Gea. [Read more…]
