Media Player Ratings- How did West Ham’s players fare against Leicester?

This game between Leicester and West Ham, for obvious reasons, took a backseat because of what happened afterwards. Feels odd to talk football after that helicopter crash, but the show must go on, and so here we are, nearly two full days after the incident, with the media player ratings for this game.

There have been plenty of games this season where West Ham have deserved more- Brighton and Spurs immediately come to mind, and so do the fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal. However at the King Power, it would only be fair to say that Leicester did deserve at least a point after their second half efforts. West Ham were fantastic defensively and the Foxes only managed to breach that resolute claret and blue wall thanks to a unlucky deflection from Fabian Balbuena that left goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski helpless.

The Hammers had their chances to win it, with Antonio and Ogbonna both wasting chances that a better striker would’ve perhaps put away, but every fan would’ve taken the draw after Mark Noble had seen red late in the first half. The veteran obviously copped most of the flak- had it not been for his reckless dismissal, Manuel Pellegrini’s side may have well come away with all three points. Football London gave him 2, which if we’re not wrong, is their lowest for a Hammers player this season, while Sky gave him 3.
