Robert Snodgrass put up for sale by West Ham

Less than a year after signing him from Norwich City, West Ham have told Scotland international Robert Snodgrass that he is no longer part of their future plans at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The 29 year arrived in London from Hull City for £10.2m in January, but failed to impress last season and didn’t score even a single goal. The arrival of Marko Arnautovic this summer has pushed him further down the pecking order and the club have now said they will listen to offers for him- either an outright sale or on loan.

Current Sunderland boss Simon Grayson, who worked with Snodgrass at Leeds, is said to be interested as are a host of other Championship outfits, with the midfielder a proven performer at that level.
