West Ham part ways with Diego Poyet, latter target for several clubs

West Ham have parted company with young starlet Diego Poyet by mutual consent. The youngster, who was a hit at Charlton before signing in the summer of 2014 for the Hammers, played only 10 games in 2 years for the club, and never quite reached the heights he was expected to.

Diego, son of Gus Poyet, had originally inked a four year deal, but the two parties agreed to terminate his contract ahead of schedule.

The 21 year old is not short on offers though, with several clubs from the Championship reportedly interested in securing his services.
