Former West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has officially joined micro blogging site Twitter. His official handle is @OfficialBigSam and he has officially described himself to be “Passionate about grassroots sports” in his account bio.
Allardyce has made two tweets so far, and has already been verified by Twitter UK.
Allardyce will be releasing his autobiography next month (October 8, 2015). It will be released by the Headline Publishing Group.

Allardyce has a parody account on Twitter called @TheBig_Sam, which jokingly tweeted the official account saying that “Identity theft is a serious crime, pal. Prepare to feel my wrath”

At the time of writing, the parody account has 1,54,000 followers while Allardyce’s original account has a little over 12,000 followers.
