The Hammers are concerned about Guy Demel, who was stretchered off during the club’s 2-0 away win to Cardiff City says assistant manager Neil McDonald.
Demel had to have oxygen after he went to ground in the first half of the match.

The assistant coach voiced his concerns over Guy Demel’s welfare as West Ham United confirmed on their Twitter page that the 32 year old had been taken to hospital.
After the game McDonald told reporters: “It looks like Demel took a whack on head. We’re a little bit concerned about that, but I’m sure he’s in good hands.”
After the Hammers 2-0 away win, it means that the east end club climb out of the relegation zone and are now up to 17th place. Goals came from Carlton Cole in the first half and left it up to Mark Noble to finish off the Cardiff boys with a neat finish from an Andy Carroll cross on the right in the dying moments of the match.
