Billy Bonds believes Hammers will improve

One legend that believes in West Ham United’s permanency in the English Premier League is Billy Bonds. Bonds believes the Hammers have what it takes to stay up.

West Ham are currently hovering dangerously at the wrong end of the table, just above the relegation zone on goal difference. Four defeats from the last four games puts the irons in this precarious position with questions being asked as to why?

Billy Bonds believes the Hammers will improve

Billy Bonds however, a true West Ham legend who had a 25 year long association with the east end club, believes differently. Bonds believes that the results will improve once the Hammers a fully fit squad.

Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Bonds had this to say: “If you can get everybody back fit, I don’t see them having a problem.”

“It’s easy for me to say from the outside because I don’t have the job and I haven’t got to worry about it now. I don’t see them having any problem staying up, I really don’t.”

The Hammers have another chance to try and turn a corner and get things back on track this Saturday when the receive bottom of the league Sunderland at the Boleyn Ground.

There is so much at stake for the east end club and they have to stay up. The Hammers haven’t had the best of starts this season and find themselves with just a paltry 13 points from 15 games. Hopefully that will change on Saturday against the Black Cats.

About Stevo

Stevo can remember going to games with his Dad and seeing the likes of Clyde Best of all people. He also has a few mates who have “done” complete seasons too – and that was when the Irons were in division one. That’s every home and away game – unbelievable! Stevo plans to do this himself next season!

The only real thing missing from our play is goals! We have had plenty of opportunities in the vast majority of games played this season to have won enough matches too leave us siting pretty! But not signing a second striker has hurt us and loosing games we should have won by us being unable to find the back of the net has affected our confidence! Thus we find ourselves where we are. However, if oor Andy can stay fit after his return then we will be more than ok! Pushing the boat out and adding a quality striker can only help as well!
