After an awesome start to his first season at West Ham United as a first teamer, Ravel Morrison is expected to get a new contract in January according to Sports website ESPN.
The brilliant 20-year-old Morrison scored a fantastic goal against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in their 3-0 win at the Lane.

Meanwhile, West Ham are attempting to get rid of a £19 million release clause that was installed by the midfielder in his current contract.
Ravel Morrison joined West Ham from Manchester United in January 2012 for a initial fee of £650,000 which could rise to £2M if the ex Birmingham City loanee plays a certain number of games.
Morrison is currently on £12,000 a-week, which could rise to around £65,000 under a new deal. The player could trouser even more if the Hammers are able to get his release fee removed.
After a spell at Manchester United, Fergie sold the youngster to West Ham in a bid to cut their losses. Morrison has now notched up 4 goals in 8 games and scored a wonder goal at the weekend that proves the quality of the young man the hammers took a gamble on.
Ravel Morrison has also been included in the England squad for the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against San Marino and Lithuania.
