Ravel Morrison goal against Tottenham

Ok, let’s have another look at the awesome Ravel Morrison goal against Tottenham. It was a bit special and gave the Hammers a much needed boost for sure.

It was a goal reminiscent of Leo Messi’s when he ran from the middle of the pitch to slot the ball home. These goals are once in a lifetime for most players but then again, Ravel isn’t like most players, is he?

He came on the cheap from Manchester United as Fergie couldn’t control the youngster. West Ham loaned him out to Birmingham where he learned the ropes along with some much needed self control in the Championship League.

Now he’s back and Allardyce is wary of not giving the youngster too much appraisal – and with good reason. How many young guy’s have gone off the rails due to not being “managed” properly?

We hope this doesn’t happen to our young starlet and we hope to see more skill from Morrison in the future. Allardyce needs to keep him on a tight leash before all the big guns come looking for this “special one”.

Sir Trevor Brooking said when they signed him that he was as gifted as a teenage Paul Gascoigne. He showed us what he was capable of against Tottenham on Sunday and the future looks bright.

Sam Allardyce should play him more forward than Nolan and give him some more space. He was as cool as a cucumber on Sunday when he netted the ball and that’s just pure class. In the meantime enjoy the video of Ravel scoring against Tottenham.

About Stevo

Stevo can remember going to games with his Dad and seeing the likes of Clyde Best of all people. He also has a few mates who have “done” complete seasons too – and that was when the Irons were in division one. That’s every home and away game – unbelievable! Stevo plans to do this himself next season!
