West Ham are still looking to sign several players including a marquee signing.
Not much official news to bring you at present but there is plenty of news making it’s way round the rumour mill.
Let’s start with the biggest name in Loic Remy, rumours are rife that West Ham are close to agreeing a fee for Remy the jet heeled French striker, with fees of up to 拢18 Million being talked about.
I am not sure where we are getting the money for these bids as it was only last week we agreed on 拢17 Million for Carroll, not that I am complaining though as Remy would be a fantastic signing.
Would Remy be interested in playing for West Ham though? He currently plays for Marseille who were in the quarter finals of the Champions League last season so would he want to play for a promoted club? I would love this to happen but can only see him playing for a team in some sort of European competition.
Anyone who has used him on Fifa will know he has lightening pace and lethal finishing 馃檪
Matt Jarvis
West Ham are still chasing Jarvis after having their initial deal of 拢6 Million + 拢3 Million of add-ons turned down, Wolves are apparently seeking 拢10 Million with a larger portion of the transfer up front.
This is the closest deal to being done from what I know with the club not a million miles apart in their valuations, can’t see Wolves missing out on a nice pay day over a small amount of cash personally.
Adam Johnson
The winger is becoming surplus to requirements at Manchester City, with City said to be trying to sign Scott Sinclair from Swansea, a loan to permanent transfer could be on the cards for Johnson, however Everton may be in pole position with first refusal as part of the Jack Rodwell deal.
Moussa Konate
This deal looks to be all tied up with us waiting on a work permit for the in form striker.
There are several other stories and rumours banding around but these are the main ones, I think we will end up with Konate and Jarvis and Sam will spring a surprise with a few defenders.
