Carlton Cole will return against Manchester City on Saturday

Sam Allardyce is in real need of some strike force and has offered the player a 3 month deal. Cole will be a much needed reinforcement for Allardyce’s squad as record signing Andy Carroll is still out of action with a heel injury.

Carlton Cole, who has managed to get himself back into form is up for Saturday’s game against Manuel Pellegrini’s outfit and is hoping to make a good impression.

Talking to West Ham’s official website, Cole had this to say: “I’m available for selection.”

“I’ll train all week with the team and then it’s just up to the manager to see what he wants to do. Hopefully I will make the bench and take it from there.”
Although Cole only has a 3 month contract to his name, the forward is out to impress Allardyce in his second coming with a view to a longer stay at the club.

Carlton Cole finished off by saying: “If I’m doing the business and doing well and making a difference in the team, we are in good shape and the manager and the chairmen want to keep me on, I’ll always be available and hopefully we can crack on after that”.

About Stevo

Stevo can remember going to games with his Dad and seeing the likes of Clyde Best of all people. He also has a few mates who have “done” complete seasons too – and that was when the Irons were in division one. That’s every home and away game – unbelievable! Stevo plans to do this himself next season!
