Sullivan- Bilic turned down chance to sign Renato Sanches and Grzegorz Krychowiak

In a startling revelation, West Ham owner David Sullivan has revealed that manager Slaven Bilic turned down the option to sign Renato Sanches and Grzegorz Krychowiak at the end of the recently concluded summer transfer window.

Sanches was eventually loaned to Swansea (Swans boss Paul Clement was Carlo Ancelotti’s No.2 for several years) while Krychowiak signed for West Bromwich Albion, both clubs the Hammers would expect to finish above this season. However West Ham’s own pursuit of William Carvalho went awry, with Sporting director also calling Sullivan a liar on Facebook.

However Sullivan has said Bilic’s top four transfer targets were all achieved by the owners (Hart, Zabaleta, Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez) [Read more…]

Reid will therefore miss both of New Zealand’s World Cup qualifiers against the Solomon Islands. Slaven Bilic has also said that he will play no part in the upcoming fixture against Newcastle. [Read more…]

Robert Snodgrass put up for sale by West Ham

Less than a year after signing him from Norwich City, West Ham have told Scotland international Robert Snodgrass that he is no longer part of their future plans at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The 29 year arrived in London from Hull City for £10.2m in January, but failed to impress last season and didn’t score even a single goal. The arrival of Marko Arnautovic this summer has pushed him further down the pecking order and the club have now said they will listen to offers for him- either an outright sale or on loan.
