Was Carlton The Only Option?

It was confirmed this recently that Carlton Cole was having a medical at West Ham, in hope of returning to the club and while I’m not totally against the idea, by no means am I thrilled by it either!

The possible return of Cole has seen a pessimistic reaction from many West Ham fans, and with good reason-after-all we expected to sign a new striker who could inject the team with some much-needed fire power, now we seem to be taking a step backwards by re-signing a player who’s best years looked well and truly behind him. Carlton Cole set for dramatic return to Upton Park

Ex Hammer Carlton Cole is currently undergoing a medical with a view to rejoining the East London club on a short-term basis.

Morrison gets nod from Allardyce to face Cheltenham

Ex Manchester United star Ravel Morrison will get a start against Cheltenham Town in the League Cup tomorrow confirms Hammers’ manager Sam Allardyce.

The Hammers’ trip up to St James’ Park ended in a soggy rained soaked 0-0 draw.
