And there’s more…the 26 year old midfielder believes he has the qualities and mentality for being able to deal with the physical and mental pressure of being in the England team if he gets the nod from England manager Roy Hodgson.

Speaking to West Ham TV, Mark Noble stated:

“If it happens, it happens, but I am just going to keep on enjoying my football, getting on the ball, enjoying passing and creating stuff and if it happens, it happens”.

“I believe I am good enough. I have seen the players we have had here who have been in the England set-up and I believe that if I made that step up, I would be able to mentally and physically cope with it.”

Mark Noble came through the ranks of West Ham’s youth system and made his senior debut for the Hammers as a 17 year old in their 2-0 win over Southend in the League Cup in August 2004.

Noble has found the net on 31 occasions and has provided 40 assists in his 255 appearances for the east end club in all competitions.

So, Noble thinks he good enough for England, what do you reckon?

About Stevo

Stevo can remember going to games with his Dad and seeing the likes of Clyde Best of all people. He also has a few mates who have “done” complete seasons too – and that was when the Irons were in division one. That’s every home and away game – unbelievable! Stevo plans to do this himself next season!
