Andy Carroll To West Ham?

The rumour mill and Twitter universe are going crazy today especially after a tweet from West Ham Co-Owner David Sullivan’s  son which flamed the fires even further!

While the young Sullivan doesn’t give any player name it appears to be Andy Carroll if the the internet is to be believed.

How about any of you guys? Have you heard anything that backs this up or have a friends Nan who works in the kitchen at Upton Park who has heard it’s true?

  1. I don’t think we actually ended up paying £9m for Savio, so it’s possible it could be lower. It was due to clauses etc. that pushed the value up to around that figure. Due to his short spell it’s unlikely we actually ended up paying the whole £9m. That being said, I would be surprised if Liverpool would be willing to release him for under half his original value in just 18 months. That’s not to say he is worth the figure, but I do think that we will struggle to find any better strikers willing to come to us. If we do have the cash for it, then I think it would be a worthwhile move, purely because we do not have the reputation to pull in bigger players anymore.

If he is saying twice the size of any deal before then we payed £9 Million for the German kid Savio so he is hinting at £18 Million… What the hell is all that about and how can we afford that and finally is Carroll worth that?!?
