Zazassance at the Mestalla! West Ham flop scores stunner against Real Madrid for Los Che

West Ham flop Simone Zaza scored his second goal in as many games for Valencia as his stunner helped Los Che upset Real Madrid in their league clash at the Mestalla last evening.

Zaza’s goal v Real Madrid was Valencia’s opening one of the game, with the home side prevailing 2-1. The Italian also scored in their 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao over the weekend.

Zaza to leave West Ham | Valencia expected to be next destination for striker

Italian striker Simone Zaza is almost certain to leave West Ham in January after his father Antonio confirmed that the 25 year old was in negotiation with Valencia over a possible move in the winter transfer window.

Zaza moved from Juve to West Ham on loan with an option to buy (believed to be triggered on making 14 appearances). The Hammers paid an initial £5m fee, with £20m to be paid to make the transfer permanent if he made a set number of appearances.

Originally touted to be the next Di Canio, Zaza has been, to mildly put it, a major disappointment and failed to score even a single goal in England. He has made a total of 11 appearances for the Hammers.
