Allardyce: Stick or twist this summer?

West Ham produced another one-dimensional and uninspiring performance last night to battle past 10 man Hull City and win the game 2-1.

However, the biggest thing to come out of the game was not the three points, nor the fact that West Ham are now 11th in the Premier League Table and nor that we have almost secured our Premier League status for another year.

Winston Reid injured til the new year?

Winston Reid is reportedly out injured until the New Year which is news that will dismay West Ham United fans.

Reid, 25, has followed on his excellent form from last season and has been excellent for West Ham this season putting in top notch performances and becoming one of our most influential players.

West Ham lose out to Hull theatrics

West Ham United continued their abysmal away form in The Premier League at the weekend, being turned over 1-0 by new boys Hull City.

The game was settled in the 12th minute when Robbie Brady went down like a sack of potatoes in the box when jumping for a header he was never winning, to the shock of everyone in the stadium the pathetic referee gave the Prima Ballerina a penalty which he dispatched past Jaaskelainen. [Read more…]

West Ham Progress After Defeating Cardiff

West Ham came flying out of the blocks last night in their Capital One Cup 3rd round tie against Premier League newcomers Cardiff City with two goals in the opening eight minutes of the match.

In true West Ham fashion though, the game ended up being a much tighter affair than it should have been with the Hammer’s eventually triumphing 3-2 when it looked like extra time was on the cards.

The game had barely got underway when Matt Jarvis slid a ball through to the ever improving Ravel Morrison, who controlled the ball, cut inside and fired past Cardiff keeper Joe Lewis to make it 1-0 with just 19 seconds on the timer! [Read more…]

West Ham back in action this weekend

Now that the inconvenience of international football is out-of-the-way, where we watch our “top” players struggle against ordinary teams and run around the pitch like perfect strangers, we can get back to the real deal which is West Ham in the Premier League.
