Sparta Rotterdam have completed the signing of West Ham youngster George Dobson. The 20 year old midfielder spent last season on loan at Walsall and was a summer target for the Saddlers but has opted to further his career in the Dutch top flight after signing for the Rotterdam outfit.
The transfer fee was not officially announced but Dobson has put pen to paper a two year deal (with the option of an additional year’s extension built in)
Sparta, who gained promotion from the Eerste Divisie at the end of the 2015/16 season, preserved their top flight status after finishing 15th in the Eredivisie in 2016/17.
